At Fair Go Finance we understand your situation is unique to you, and every person is different.
That’s why we’ve made sure our approach to lending takes into account a number of important details, because you are far more than just a score calculated by a credit bureau.
We believe our way is the fairest and best way, because we make sure we’ve considered and understood your whole situation, allowing us to approve responsible loans knowing they can genuinely help you to go forward.
Updating your personal information is quick and easy! Simply contact us via phone on 1300 324 746 or message us via our chatbot, and we will be able to update your details then and there.
You can live in any postcode within Australia and be eligible to apply for any Fair Go Finance loan product.
Please just know that you will need to be living at a permanent and fixed residence so you won’t be eligible to apply if you’re currently staying in a caravan park.
Your level of bad credit will play a part as to whether you can successfully take out a bad credit loan with us.
One part of our assessment criteria does look at the number of loan enquires you’ve had recently, the number & status of any recent defaults and any other adverse items on your credit file such as bankruptcy or a part 9.
The fewer you have, the more likely you will be eligible but we do pride ourselves on helping customers who may have had issues in the past, but are clearly ready to get back on track.
Please call us on 1300 324 746 if you’d like more information or if you’d like to discuss your current credit report before completing our online application. We’re here to help.Read More
Yes. We will complete a credit check on you as part of our loan assessment process.
Our online application form requires you to consent to a credit check being completed, and once ticked, we will obtain your credit file held by one or more Credit Reporting Bodies.
If you have a default or a missed payment listed on your file, please don’t worry. Depending on your circumstances we may still be able to help you with a bad credit loan.
A credit enquiry check (or credit check) is when a lender or credit provider views your credit file held with a credit bureau and records the date, amount and type of product you have applied for with them. This is standard practice when a lender is assessing you for a loan or credit facility.
To be able to access your credit file, the lender or credit provider must firstly obtain your consent. Here at Fair Go Finance, this is asked on the second page of our online application and if you choose not to consent, you will be unable to progress any further with the application, as it is required for our assessment process.
Once you give your consent to a credit check on our application form, this then allows us to access your credit report and list your “credit enquiry” with us. This enquiry then remains on your credit report, whether your application outcome is successful or not.
It’s important to know that the number of credit enquiries you have listed (particularly in a short space of time) can affect the lender’s decision as to whether you are approved and what fees/charges you may need to incur.
E-signing is a quick and efficient electronic way to sign, instead of using a pen.
Here at Fair Go Finance, it works like this.
If you are approved for a loan, we will send you a unique SMS code to your mobile. To accept our loan offer you then enter the code on your online contract – it’s that easy.
It is one of the fastest ways to sign your loan contract and it means your loan funds can then be immediately transferred as cleared funds to your bank account via our real-time payments system.
Follow these simple 4 steps to e-Sign your contract:
You have now successfully eSigned your contract. Congratulations!
Yes, absolutely! You can rest assured there are no penalties or charges for doing so.
Here at Fair Go Finance, we are happy for our customers to repay their loan as quickly as they can – it helps you to save on interest too.
As a responsible lender, we assess every application by referring to each individual’s circumstances.
And part of this assessment process involves ensuring you can comfortably afford the loan repayments.
Consequently, there are times where we may offer you a different loan amount, as long as the loan still helps you to achieve the outcome you need.
Yes. If your circumstances unexpectedly change, we understand you may want to reduce your repayments.
If this happens, please contact us as soon as possible. The quicker you let us know, the faster we can discuss your alternative payment options and help you get back on track.
We simply ask that you contact us as soon as possible. By letting us know your situation, we’ll be able to discuss alternative options with you.
